Congratulations to our User Chris51501 for a tremendous score of 77.78% when predicting the 2019 Golden Globe TV nominations on Thursday. He is just ahead of eight people tied for second place with 75.93%, including our Gold Derby executive editor Paul Sheehan. Our top User has a great point score total of 23,260 by using the 500 super bets wisely.
Almost 1,800 people worldwide predicted these television nominees in 11 categories for the awards announcement. The Golden Globes ceremony will happen live in Beverly Hills on January 6 with hosts Andy Samberg and Sandra Oh on NBC.
Our top scorer got several long shots correct. Those included “Pose” for Best Drama Series, Billy Porter (“Pose”) for Best Drama Actor, “The Good Place” for Best Comedy Series, Kristen Bell (“The Good Place”) for Best Comedy Actress and Regina King (“Seven Seconds”) for Best TV Movie/Limited Series Actress.

For our nine Editors predicting, Sheehan leads the way with 75.93%. Rob Licuria, Daniel Montgomery, Tom O’Neil and I are in a second place tie with 70.37%. Marcus Dixon and Joyce Eng are next with 68.52%. Matt Noble follows with 66.67% and then Susan Wloszczyna with 62.96%. See Editors’ scores.
