Ervio is getting in especially over blanchett in a movie that looks like it is just getting dumped in the spring. And there is bad buzz surrounding the Joker movie. Phoenix could be as great as Robbie was in suicide squad and award shows will still ignore it.

Downton Abbey seems like a lock for Cast in a Motion Picture. The series was nominated 5 times, winning 3. I would be shocked if it was not nominated

There was bad buzz surrounding The Girl on the Train but Emily Blunt still got in. Actors don’t necessarily fail to secure a nomination or win just because their films ar a big pile of crap. See: Emily Blunt, Johnny Depp, Rami Malek (Depp and Malek both SAG winners and oscar nominees for certain films, with Malek possibly winning an Oscar for a brilliant performance in a terrible film).

Don’t think Where did you Go Bernadette is being released this spring…

So, what if it gets good reviews?

There is always one nomination that comes out of left field and right now my money is on sterling k brown from waves in actor. I have a feeling that hollywood might pull an spotlight (Getting supporting actress and cast but no supporting actor)

Hopefully Margot Robbie wins everything and dame Maggie Smith getting a deserved recognition. The woman needs one more SAG /Oscar nomination before she passes out. That’s a legend

Lady Gaga (A Star is Born) should win best actress

I saw Bohemian Rhapsody yesterday and I must say that I don’t see it as a terrible film. The fact that the audience cared for it proves how enjoyable and entertaining it is. I don’t know how historically correct it was though. All I know is that I saw an enjoyable film

It’s not terrible, but it’s not brilliant or a “masterpiece Best Picture worthy” film either.
