Can we please add Burning and Shoplifters to Best Picture and Director, the NSFC love rewarding films like this, and excluding them is a mistake

This group usually provides my favorite choices, although they never gave Ang Lee an award, because even though their members can be a part of LA or New York, they make their choices way after NY/LA/NBR/Boston/etc. announces theirs and some times you can see some politic at work when there’s a movie or performance that steamrolled the other groups and NSFC sometimes have just enough members to get behind one alternative just to ensure the favorite doesn’t win. Some times their choice of alternative will have NO presence at the Oscars and they know it. Some times, they can serve as a tie breaker to LA and NYC’s choices if there is a split or just go a different way.

I just hope they keep don’t reward that anti-Semitic, misogynistic pig Lars Von Trier for The House That Jack Built. They already made a big mistake by giving so much love to Melancholia, when that film should have fallen off the radar after his disgusting Hitler comments at Cannes in 2011. Why people even bothered to finance his films or work with him afterwards, I will never understand.

Because he is an incredibly interesting artist, with exciting vision and technique. But I suppose you already know that.
